Ricerca e scienza

The date is close: 11 and 12 September. On those two days, the International Osteopathy Congress will be held, entirely dedicated to the osteopathic approach in sport. The scientific event is organized by O.I.A. – Osteopathic International Academy, the language used is English.

The first day will be dedicated to the reports of the works submitted and selected by the Scientific Committee, the second day with the workshop that will reveal techniques and approaches used in the last three years and rewarded in the Tokyo Olympics Games with a gold medal and two silver medals won by the National Rowing Team of Romania. The event was planned, prior to the Covid era, to be based in Sofia in September 2019, the history of the last two years about restrictions forced it to be moved by one year and to be held online via a web platform. The international congress will be opened by Marcello Luca Marasco, Scientific Coordinator of OIA (present in Tokyo at the Olympic Games), who will close the two-day event on 12 September with the workshop “Osteopathy in sport field: benchmarks, evaluation of the athletes, treating the athletes”. Techniques, tests, and the osteopathic management of the athlete will be discussed. The entire first day on 11 September will be dedicated to speakers’ presentations. In short, an event not to be missed; given the online nature of the congress, registration is still open.
